Where is this scene? Finding filming locations from screenshots

2026-09-23

가을 분위기 속에 '서술라길(seosulla-gil)'이라고 적힌 도로명 표지판이 걸려 있는 거리 풍경

Watching a scene from a drama and thinking, "Where is this?" And have you ever looked closely at a screenshot like that? You can find the location from small clues like signs, staircases, or a bus stop. That's because fans collect photos and coordinates, and filming leaves permit records. Sometimes the interior even appears in real estate photos — places used as homes will leave photos when they're listed, so you can compare. ## Where do you start looking? 1) Look for Korean signs, street names, or the shop's appearance in the image and search for them on Naver Map. If you search only in English, you won't find much. 2) Search Instagram and TikTok using hashtags (drama title + filming location), and check posts on Daum Cafe and Naver fan cafes. Fans post coordinates and map links. 3) Check the 'Filming Permits' board on the local district office (or film commission) website — it lists public filming schedules and locations. ## On-site precautions - Do not take photos or knock on doors in front of private property. Avoid entering without permission. - Check the exact location first on the fan summary post or the map link. When asking residents on site, being polite will help.
