Describing words go before the noun in Korean: verbs take -는 (now), -(으)ㄴ (past), or -(으)ㄹ (future), and adjectives take -(으)ㄴ. 있다/없다 words take -는, ㄹ-stems drop ㄹ, and most ㅂ-adjectives change ㅂ to 우.
Learners will be able to form the correct noun-modifying ending (-는, -(으)ㄴ, -(으)ㄹ) for verbs, adjectives, and irregular stems.
