Learn three endings for reacting to things you hear: -다니 for surprise, -는다면서 for checking news you heard before, and -는다니? for asking what someone said.
By the end, you can say you are surprised by news you just heard (-다니), check news you heard earlier (-는다면서), and ask what someone else said (-는다니?), with the right form for verbs, adjectives, nouns and the past.
