Learn two particles of contrast: 커녕 ("let alone A, not even B") and 치고 ("for an N, unlike what you would expect").
By the end, you can use N은/는커녕 and -기는커녕 to say that not even the smaller thing happened. You can also use N치고(는) to say that someone or something is different from what people usually expect.
